2021 February GS & RS User Forum

The Fiji GIS/RS first user forum for the year 2021 was co-hosted by Lands Department and UNITAR-Common Sensing Project on the 9th of February 2021 at the Ministry of Lands Conference room. This was also the first time for the forum to host a zoom meeting. There was 46 attendees from different government departments, NGO , private organization and 13 zoom participants.

The meeting was chaired by Principal Geospatial Officer Mr. Shaneel Prakash and the Director Geospatial Information Management Ms. Meizyanne Hicks official welcomed and opened the forum.

The next user forum is scheduled for the 2nd of March 2021 and will be hosted by the Mineral Resource Department. The secretariat encourages and welcomes presentations on GIS/RS projects and updates for the next forum meet.
